Deep Mesh Rogues

The Deep Mesh Rogues, (or the DMR as they are usually called,) is the name adopted by a collection of hackers. While some of their members are self proclaimed hacktivists or infoanarchist warriors, the group is much better known by the digital criminals that make up the majority of their ranks. DMR members have been known to practice financial fraud, identity counterfeiting, identity theft, reputation assassinations, data theft, and digital sabotage.

DMR are a very informal organization. They were originally founded by the alliance of up and coming computer hackers assembled by renowned computer hacker Bombadil. Though officially the group has no leadership or command structure, people with strong reputation in the group inspire and direct the actions of those who idolize them. DMR members advise each other on the creation of new exploits, teach others their newest trick, and brag to each other of their accomplishments to a group of peers who will understand them. Loyalty to the faction is internally enforced. Members who are seen as ratting out the group or sharing the group’s techniques with outsiders find themselves ostracized and ruined by the full hacking power of the DMR.
